Wedding

Sophie and James

Surrounded by beautiful yellow uncut cornfields and their own moat in the grounds of Bassmead Manor Barns, Sophie and James held hands as they toasted their wedding nuptials with friends and family.

And as their guests roared with delight, professional wedding photographer, Becky Kerr, was on hand to capture some beautiful and intimate wedding shots, which were made even more poignant by their beloved dog, Betsy, taking centre stage.

Sophie and James had first invited Becky to take engagement photos a few months back with Betsy, who was then a puppy. It meant they really could relax on their wedding day and not worry about the presence of a photographer snapping away.

Sophie's wedding couldn't have got off to a more relaxing start. She, her five bridesmaids and flower girl arrived bright and early at the Bedfordshire home of Sophie's mum to have their hair and make-up beautifully applied. The bride had chosen a gorgeous bespoke wedding dress designed by Angela Gladwin, who kindly took the trouble to personally come and dress Sophie on her big day to make sure she looked the perfect bride. And with her bridesmaids all wearing Victoria Lou dresses, Sophie found herself glowing as she cast her eye around her bridal party. Sophie's mum took the opportunity to prise her daughter away for a few special mother/daughter minutes to give her a fabulous Pandora bracelet as a memento of what was to be a truly stunning wedding that the happily married couple will remember for the rest of their days as man and wife.

Clutching her incredible bouquet of flowers, designed by Dana Young, Sophie and her party, including Betsy who also had flowers around her collar in keeping with her loyal owner and collar and lead designed by the Artful Collar co especially for the wedding. Taking a mintues walk from the bridal dressingroom over to the Barn at Bassmead Manor Barns where James was patiently waiting with his groom party, family and friends.

Exchanging their vows in the beautiful barn the couple then had photographs taken against the amazing and exquisite backdrop of the cornfields and the unique moat, the stunning couple then feasted with their party on a delicious banquet fit for a king.
