As a wedding photographer, I shoot in hundreds of locations and venues around the country (and the world) but mostly close to home. Here is a list of some of the local venues I have enjoyed working at, which may be of help to you if you are still choosing your venue.

Want an exclusive wedding venue ? Why not book all 38 bedrooms and keep this venue to yourselves ! A little bit of trivial for you Hugh Grant and Andie MacDowell got married in the Queen Elizabeth 1st suite in the Four weddings and a Funeral movie. 

This 13th Century Inn has recently has been modernised into a stylish pub with the opportunity of four licensed spaces for wedding ceremonies. A stunning cobbled courtyard is available for your welcome drinks and for wedding photos to be taken. It is also a short distance away from a  beautiful parish church.

Whether intimate or grand… Traditional or contemporary… Quirky or sophisticated…Vintage and modern. The Railway Centre offer all of this in a beautiful countryside setting, for Wedding or Civil Partnership the venue can hold up to 150 guests.

This unique venue hold many benefits from a competitively priced and flexible venue giving you a unique blend of quality and nostalgia. You even get to sign your marriage certificate in one of the old railway carries!

 

Notley Tythe Farm

Situated in the rowelling Chiltern Hills on the Buckingham and Oxfordshire border Notley Tythe Barns are a stunning rural location for your wedding.

The barns were lovingly restored in 1991 by the current owners converting the 12th Century barn into a beautiful wedding venue after over 350 year of it being used as a farm. 

Notley has a civil licence so you can getting married and enjoy your reception without travelling between venues. 

Chichley Hall

Chichley Hall

Built in the early 18th century, Chichley Hall is a grade I listed mansion positioned a few miles north of Milton Keynes heading towards Olney. The hall offers 48 bedrooms, a licensed bar, sitting room and dining room focussing on the provision of intimate and exclusive weddings. The hall is a De Vere venue set in 80 acres of manicured grounds backing on to a private lake. In short, a photographers dream venue!

Latimer Place

Latimer Place

Latimer Place is an inspiring Victorian building set in the Chiltern Hills in Buckinghamshire. A De Vere venue, Latimer Place offers 3 seperate staging venues ranging from the traditional to the more contemporary. The venue contains 197 rooms, again ensuring guest accomodation is plentiful. The 30 acres of grounds overlooking the Chess Valley ensure there are plenty of awe inspiring backdrops for your wedding photography.

Horwood House

Horwood House

Horwood House Hotel is a stunning period wedding venue just a few miles outside Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire. There are many acres of landscaped gardens featuring a pagoda and lily pond which make an ideal backdrop both for photography and staging your wedding event. The hotel itself contains 185 suites ensuring even larger weddings will be well catered for.
