I have photographed a number of schools and my unobtrusive style of photography works really well to capture a day in the life of your school . I studied photography at University and then worked in the media industry for a number of national and international magazine titles so I have a wealth of photography experiences to bring to your photoshoot.
We will work through a plan for the day to ensure that you get a wide selection of school activities photographed as well as showing the interaction between staff and class mates.I advise for a timetable to be set up for me to follow. We will be able to photograph two classrooms per lesson time if they are prepped and set up for the photo shoot - for instance if we are going to photograph in the science block the experiments should be laid out and the students be prepped on what we are about to do. This will give a window view into the workings of your school and create a familiar connection with your new students wishing to join the school.
It can be extremely overbearing and a nerve wracking experience thinking about joining a new school. seeing vibrant & interesting photographs showing all aspects of the school will show the school's professionalism & assist in enticing students with a few options.
The best time of the school curriculum to take photos is after the Easter holidays and after the summer holidays. This fits in perfectly before GCSE and mocks are being sat so that there is less disruption to the school also during these months the surroundings of the school attractive with trees and greenery in full bloom.
