Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire Wedding Photographer

Editorial and candid wedding photography for couples who want their day captured with elegance, instinct, and an unobtrusive eye.

Quietly observed. Beautifully told.

I only undertake a select number of weddings each year. Great wedding photography takes more than a camera and a checklist!

Working with couples who want their wedding day photography to be an unobtrusive, storytelling experience. With an editorial eye developed over two decades, the approach is quiet and unhurried, watching for the moments which unfold naturally rather than the ones that are directed.

Most people don't love being photographed. That's exactly why you need the right photographer.

The best wedding photographs aren't posed. They're the ones taken when you've forgotten the camera exists, when you're lost in laughter, stealing a quiet moment with your partner, or dancing like nobody's watching. As a documentary wedding photographer, that's precisely how I work. Unobtrusive, unhurried, and always watching. You focus entirely on your day. I'll make sure nothing is missed.

Beautiful images that don't interrupt your day.

With over twenty years of experience and a background honed in editorial photography, I know what it takes to find the natural moments in a busy day and how to capture them without ever getting in the way. Candid wedding photography isn't about luck. It's about knowing where to be, when to wait, and when to act. The result is a set of images that are quietly stunning, genuinely yours, and full of the feeling of the day exactly as it happened.

The great thing about an engagement shoot is that you can get used to the slightly awkward stuff, and you'll also get the proof that in the pictures, it looks amazing.

Why stock photography could be damaging your business!

What does candid mean? Well, a candid photo is something that isn't staged, they're the pictures that are snapped right there in the moment - often when people don't even realise.
