Selina and David, Wrest Park

Selina and David, Wrest Park

As Selina and David toasted their nuptials in front of a beautiful sunset against the backdrop of the picturesque Wrest Park in Bedfordshire, it really was a fairy-tale ending to what was such a special wedding in front of their family and friends.
Bridal preparations
And as soon as the happy bride and groom awoke on their wedding morning, they made sure it was going to be a very fun affair. Selina chose to spend her final moments before tying the knot with her four bridesmaids at her parents' house in Ampthill. David and his best man and ushers, meanwhile, had a relaxing time getting ready in the beautiful Clophill Eco Lodges, set at the heart of the Greensand Ridge, a walkers' paradise in every sense of the word.
Setting eyes on his bride
And as David then excitedly made his way to the Orangery in Wrest Park, where he was to exchange his wedding vows with Selina, he didn't have to wait long before she arrived to walk down the aisle on the arm of her doting father.
Confetti
Gazing into each other's eyes as they savoured every moment of their beautiful ceremony, the couple were then greeted to whoops of delight from their guests as they threw confetti over them to mark their new journey as man and wife.
The Happy Couple
Professional female wedding photographer, Becky Kerr, had been on hand all morning to cover Selina and David's special day by taking intimate and personal shots of the happy couple and as they walked out into the grounds of Wrest Park, she made sure every moment was captured. Even their beloved dog made a fleeting appearance to have a star photograph taken with his adoring owners.
Wedding Party
Once Becky had captured some beautiful photographs of the bridal and groom party, guests then headed to Silsoe to a wedding reception held in their family's field. It was very much a personal affair with so much attention to detail. From choosing yellow and blue bunting, laying out the tables where guests mingled for drinks to a barbeque banquet, coconut stall and games, the doting couple made sure they laid on a wedding party to remember. And as Seilna and David cut into their naked wedding cake, causing wonderful ripples of laughter and joviality, their special day was made complete when the beautiful sun set down on them both.
